Nísperos* are our Colombian version of the kiwi, because they are about the same color in the outside and the texture of the fruit but brownish red on the inside; the flavor is somewhat different and maybe the yellow kiwi resembles more than the green. They are great to eat alone or prepared as follows.
Cut the nísperos in half.
Remove the 2 large seeds and scoop the pulp out with a spoon.
Blend the pulp with the rest of the ingredients.
Serve immediately in tall glasses.
