For this sauce to be as it should be thicken and look almost like a syrup. She keeps thickening until it cools off completely. so be careful not to leave it super thick in the pot. This sauce is a delight, prepare it to add salmon, poultry and pork.
This recipe can be made Gluten Free if you replace Soy Sauce for Mirin or Gluten Free Soy Sauce.
Place soy, sugar, ginger, vinegar, sesame oil and cilantro in a pot over medium high heat and bring to a boil.
Cook 5 to 7 minutes more and removes from the heat or until shiny and syrupy. (Refrigerates for a week).
