Brussels sprouts

  • 1/2 pound purple Brussels sprouts about 2& 1/2 cups
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi
How to prepare:
  1. Cut the stem end of each Brussels sprout. Then make a cross cut on that end of each sprout so the center of each one cooks through. You can also cut them in half.

  2. Place sprouts on a baking pan and add the rest of the ingredients: lime juice, ginger, tamari, olive oil and honey. Turn and mix well so all the sprouts get seasoned. Bake at 350F on a convection or 325F regular oven for 15 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked through.

  3. Keep the wasabi on the side so each person adds it when the sprouts are served.
