Jugo de piña, papaya, tomate de arbol y banano (Pineapple, Papaya, Tree Tomato and Banana Juice)

This is another mixed fruit juice that can be really enjoyed by both children and adults. With the mix of colors and flavors, you prepare a variety of delicious nutrients for a healthful meal. Tree tomatoes are sold in specialty and Latino grocery stores.

Ingredientes:
  • 1 cup peeled, diced pineapple
  • 1 cup peeled, seeded, diced papaya(a 1-pound Hawaiian or ¼ of a medium 4 pound papaya)
  • 1 tree tomato*, peeled and diced (about ¼ to1/3cup)
  • 1 small banana, peeled and sliced (about ½ cup)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 to 2 cups crushed ice
How to prepare:
  1. Place all the fruits in a blender with the sugar and 1 cup of ice. Puree until smooth and serve immediately.

  2. Add the second cup of ice if you want a lighter smoothie, or serve over crushed ice.
