Ingredients for servings:

Concentrated Coffee Syrup or Brewed Espresso

  1. 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

  2. 10 tablespoons butter

  3. 3 eggs

  4. 2 tablespoons Concentrated Coffee Syrup or brewed espresso

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  6. 2 1/2 cups sugar

  7. 1 cup all-purpose flour

  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions:

  1. Place the chocolate and butter in a glass bowl and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Mix with a fork until evenly blended.

  2. Combine the eggs, coffee, vanilla in a medium bowl and mix.

  3. Place the sugar, flour, salt, in a large bowl and mix. Pour the chocolate and egg mixtures into the bowl and mix with a fork or spatula.

  4. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes. Set aside to cool completely in the pan.

  5. If desired, before serving sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with a thin layer of Mocha Buttercream Frosting.

  6. Cut the individual brownies and top with whipped cream flowers, if desired. Serve.

Optional: Decorate with a thin layer of your favorite cover.

Tip: Prepare these brownies in disposable aluminum trays and spray them with non-stick spray so they do not stick.
