1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste

1 cup strained or thick yogurt

1 cup

maple syrup

1 tablespoon

  1. 1⁄2 tablespoon Olive oil

  2. 3 tablespoons Minced scallion

  3. 1 Garlic clove, minced

  4. 1⁄2 teaspoon Salt

  5. 1⁄4 teaspoon Black pepper

  6. 1⁄4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper or to taste

  7. 1 cup Strained or thick yogurt

  8. 1 tablespoon Maple syrup


Instructions:

  1. In a sauté pan over low cook the onion in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes, add the garlic, salt, pepper and spices and cook 1 minute more. Turn the heat off, scrape and trasfer to a blender. Add the yogurt and maple syrup and blend to a creamy texture. Can be served as is or cool.
